Grignard Reagent
CHE 2230: Organic Chemistry
In Organic Chemistry lab, we learned a variety of techniques, including distillation, filtration, recrystallization, extraction, and thin layer chromatography. In the lab report attached below, triphenyl methanol was synthesized through a Grignard reaction. Also, the techniques of extraction and recrystallization were incorporated in the experiment.
